Sunday, May 19, 2019– Deputy President William Ruto has been busy touring the Country as he hunts for 2022 votes.
Everywhere Ruto goes, he tries to win the hearts of the masses by interacting with ordinary Citizens.
When Ruto toured Bumula in Bungoma County on Sunday, he ordered his no-nonsense security team to allow a woman who wanted to talk to him access the podium.
The woman identified as Mama Bernadette Nangila walked to the Deputy President, greeted him and engaged in a small talk.
Ruto shared photos interacting with the woman and captioned them,”Met Mama Bernadette Nangila, a resident of Bumula in Bungoma County, who is a small scale trader. We chatted about her venture; how she plans to expand it and agreed on ideas and means to achieve that.”
